As if fatherhood wasn’t exhilarating enough, Jay-Z welcomed more good newstoday. The hip-hop mogul is joining forces with Duracell Powermat as an investor and spokesman.
Powermat, a joint venture between Procter & Gamble’s Duracell brand and Powermat Technologies, announced today that the iconic rapper has signed a multi-year global agreement with the company as an investment partner. He will also be the face and voice of the Duracell Powermat JV.
“I believe in the future of wireless energy and I believe that Duracell Powermat is the company to bring on the revolution,” said Mr. Carter. “I’m partnering with Duracell Powermat because they’re providing the solutions for the future.”
The company is betting that Jay-Z’s influence on the technology-savvy generation will help energize its wireless charging products.
